Boardwalk Fries

This Maryland classic is great with ketchup, mayo or Malt Vinegar as dipper.

Planning:

Ingredients

  • - 5 Russet Potatoes

  • - 1 tbsp of granulated garlic or Garlic and Pepper Seasoning

  • - 1 tbsp of Old Bay Seasoning

  • - 4 tbsp butter for griddling (or you can use Peanut oil)


Preparation:

  • 1. Prick potatoes with a fork and microwave whole. Cook on high for 8 minutes.

  • 2. After cooling, slice potatoes into batons (fries).

  • 3. Assemble all ingredients into a half sheet tray.

Set your griddle to medium heat (~400F)


Performance

Melt 2 tbsp of butter on griddle, spreading evenly, add potatoes, Season everything with the garlic and Old bay. Turn so all sides get griddled 3 minutes per side add more butter or oil at 6 min mark. Return to sheet tray.
